Introdction

We are excited to share that the 2026 IIF European Summit, one of the IIF's flagship events, will be back in Brussels for another year of dynamic sessions, strategic networking opportunities, and high-level conversations with senior leaders shaping the global and financial services industry. Europe is at a strategic inflection point - balancing defense readiness, financial resilience, and geopolitical stability while accelerating digital transformation and innovation for long-term growth. The Summit will bring together policymakers, financial leaders, and industry experts to explore how Europe can innovate to mobilize capital, streamline regulation, and strengthen competitiveness amid global uncertainty. This event will serve as a platform for exploring collaborative cross-sector action to position Europe not only as a regional leader, but also as a global case study for growth.

We will begin the Summit on Wednesday, March 4 with a series of invitation - only, topic - focused roundtables during the day, followed by an opening networking reception in the evening. A full day of programming will continue Thursday, March 5.
