Abstract: Driven by the dual forces of global medical and health industry transformation and technological innovation,the medical and health industry faces multiple challenges and urgently needs leaders who can cope with future complex medical and health issues and promote industry innovation. The School of Economics and Management and the School of Clinical Medicine (Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital) at Tsinghua University have pioneered a STEMM talent education model for the medical and healthcare industry through deep interdisciplinary integration of Science,Technology,Engineering,Medicine,and Management. They have built a dynamic,collaborative education system based on the theory of Five Elements. The STEMM model breaks down the barriers of traditional disciplines and relies on “Curriculum + Research & Development+ Transformation”. It aims to enhance the strategic vision and social responsibility of leading talents,build excellent innovation and collaboration capabilities,enhance their adaptability and decision-making execution in complex environments,and provide new perspectives,new paths and new impetus for the cultivation of leading talents in the medical and health industry of China.
