The First Global Innovation Conference is being held in Nanjing!
The ancient city of Nanjing once again embraces the tide of innovation, with the 2019 inaugural Global Innovation Conference acting as an extension and expansion of Nanjing Innovation Week, providing direct access to the cutting edge of global innovation. From September 16th to 19th, 2019, under the theme "In Nanjing • Innovating Future" (IN NANJING • INNOVATING FUTURE), the first Global Innovation Conference kicked off in Nanjing. Organized by the China management Science Society and jointly undertaken by the Nanjing Western Returned Scholars Association, Research Center for Technological Innovation,Tsinghua University, Nanjing University of Finance and Economics' Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Agile Think Tank and other institutions, this conference marked the beginning of a new chapter in global innovation dialogue.
This conference serves as a recurring, forward-looking, high-level, global, and continuously operating platform for international exchange and cooperation in innovation, conducted under the guidance of the Nanjing Municipal Government and the Gulou District Government. In response to pressing global challenges such as the hyper-speed development of technology, drastic changes in resource and environmental conditions, the emergence of new ecosystems in novel spatiotemporal contexts, and a sudden surge in uncertainties, the organizers have specially invited innovation luminaries from academia, industry, and government around the world. Renowned figures from the industrial, financial, scientific, think tank, and university sectors both domestically and internationally have gathered together.
The main venue features the Second International Summit on Innovation Management, the Fourth International Academic Conference on Chinese Management, thematic forums on consultancy innovation, the 5G industry, innovation in preschool education, among others. Activities such as interactions with innovation experts on campuses, visits to new research institutes, science parks, and silicon alleys add to the rich tapestry of the conference. Focused on global concerns like the reconfiguration of the innovation landscape, planning for future industries, transformations in management thought, challenging cognitive boundaries, and connecting with worldwide wisdom, the conference unfolds in diverse formats to stimulate thinking and facilitate the exchange of knowledge.
